THE CHALLENGE:

A self-supported team attempt to cycle the 220mile length of Wales taking in some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK via The Menai Strait, Snowdonia, The Estuaries of North Wales, and The Brecon Beacons. Climbing some 15,000ft we'll also ride through some of Wales’ most historic towns and ancient sites whilst raising much needed funds for Velindre Cancer Centre.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This is not a holiday pootle. No flash accommodation or spa treatments (save for the odd application of Sudocrem). This is a real expedition style challenge. The going is arduous but achievable for the relatively fit individual. Don’t worry though, there will be plenty of training opportunities and a tailor made training plan for those who require it.

HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE? :

You should be moderately fit in order to complete the challenge but it’s always my goal to ensure that you not only complete but enjoy the experience. To that end I organise regular team training sessions which you are welcome to participate in free of charge. We will cover a lot of miles per day over a duration of 5-7 hours but if your confidence is a little low I have prepared training plans to fit your life commitments and get you where you need to be.

If we or you have to cancel your place due to official Covid-19 restrictions we’ll offer a refund or if you prefer, transfer your place to another event.
