HISTORY

My name is Simon Ford and following the loss of my fiancée Linda to cancer several years ago I set up Venture to Victory over Cancer with the express purpose of running extreme fundraising challenges in aid of NHS Wales Velindre Cancer Centre.

 

Since that time I've taken incredibly committed teams on challenges all over the world, from the Sahara Desert to the Arctic, and from the rivers of Asia to the mountains of Europe, all with the express purpose of raising funds in the scrap against cancer and the pain it brings.

Over the years we've raised hundreds of thousands of pounds in the care, treatment and research of cancer sufferers all over the country and with continued support of team mates and volunteers, this fundraising and these challenges will never stop.
